I think its a show that can really go on because of the nature of it - sure when it ended it was probably right because it had explored everything continuosly but I do think theres a place for it in the show. I agree with everyone saying the love to Scotland finished it off. The fact that it was set in Rochdale was what made it the show it was. I do think by series 7, it was getting a bit boring and repetitive and it needed something to give it a boost but moving to Scotland wasn’t it.
