Ubuntu 17.10 (Artful Aardvark) will be released on October 19, 2017.This version will be supported for 9 months until July 2018. For those looking for long term support versions of Ubuntu, they may want to install Ubuntu 16.04 (LTS) or wait for then upcoming 18.04 (LTS). Thereafter I installed Ubuntu 17.04. They both share a 120 GB SSD. After the installation finished the system is unbelievably slow at booting (~2 minutes) and boots straight into the login screen of Ubuntu. However, for some reason GRUB is not starting as expected and my monitors keep saying No source found right until the Ubuntu login screen
